In astrology, the chart is the board. How you play is yours.
My own experience has led me to see life as very similar to an ancient Indian game called Leela — sometimes called the Game of Self-Knowledge, a forerunner of what became Snakes and Ladders. A higher consciousness — the soul — chooses its board before the game begins. It selects the overall journey, the themes it wants to explore. But how the game unfolds is not fixed. Each roll of the dice reflects lived choice, timing, and awareness. The ladders don’t appear unless you land on them. The snakes don’t activate unless you step there.
As polymath Robert Edward Grant asks: “Is destiny the free will of the Higher Self?”
With that in mind — let me show you what was written in the sky.
In the chart for that moment, on the day I had the vision, the asteroid Osiris sat at 14 degrees Cancer, conjunct — meaning directly alongside — the fixed star Sirius at 14 degrees Cancer. Sirius, the brightest star in our sky, was understood by ancient Egyptians as the source of the mystery school wisdom they carried. In galactic astrology, it is associated with the original teachings seeded into human consciousness to germinate over millennia until the time of awakening.
Also present in that Cancer cluster was the asteroid Hyperborea — associated in galactic astrology with the memory of original humanity and ancient lost civilisations.
One degree is considered a close conjunction. Osiris and Sirius were less than half a degree apart.
The asteroid Isis sat nearby in early Leo, in the 9th house of the event chart — the house of long journeys, higher wisdom, and the search for meaning.
And presiding over all of it: Regulus, the great royal fixed star, at 29 degrees Leo. The 29th degree is called the anaretic degree — a point of urgency, of something needing to complete before a major transition begins.
In the sky at that exact moment, Osiris and Sirius were side by side, Isis watching from early Leo, and Regulus burning at its final degree.
And transiting Pluto at 28 Scorpio was activating my natal Neptune at 28 degrees in my 10th house — the house of legacy and public path. A vision being seeded for a purpose not yet visible.
The chart already knew.
A few months before Cambodia, the number 27 arrived in a dream.
In November 2022 I had been watching a documentary on Gaia featuring polymath Robert Edward Grant, who explores the mathematical and geometric codes embedded in ancient structures. That night I dreamed that the solution was the square root of 27 — or possibly 27 squared. The dream was vivid enough that I wrote it down. When I woke I laughed to myself: you've given me the solution — what is the question? What I didn't know then was that the question was already on its way.
A few days later I dreamed that the Kabbalah Tree of Life — an ancient map of consciousness encoding the relationship between the divine and the human — was integrated into my body. Sacred geometry encoding itself into me while I slept.
I sent a query to Robert Edward Grant. His reply stopped me: the slope angle of the Great Pyramid, when squared, equals 27. And its square root equals 72. The same digits, perfectly reversed. He called the pyramid the only Exponential Palindrome Mirror in the number field with this unique property.
I filed it away. I didn’t yet know what I was collecting.
Now look at what the sky was doing on 29th March 2023, when I climbed those steep temple steps alone, singing the Gayatri.
The first thing I noticed when I examined the chart afterward was a mutable cross — four asteroids forming a perfect cross in the sky, each at the 28th degree. In my first Substack piece, I wrote about how the number 28 is woven throughout my natal chart — a grand earth and water trine, a Yod, all activated at 28 degrees. On the day I climbed Baphuon, the sky mirrored that pattern precisely.
At the four points of the cross: Osiris at 28 Virgo, Hyperborea at 28 Pisces, Chaos at 28 Gemini, and Varda at 27 Sagittarius. Four points in tension and activation simultaneously — a cosmic pressure point.
In astrology, mutable signs — Virgo, Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius — are the signs of transition. They sit at the end of each season, holding the energy of completion and change. A mutable cross means all four of these transitional points were activated simultaneously — the sky itself in a state of flux, of things ending and beginning at once.
I paused when I saw those four asteroid names. In my 1995 vision, chaos was the word I used for the swirling energy from which life emerged. And the creature that appeared — whiskered, primitive, taking its first breath — was almost a symbol of the very first stirring of life on Earth. Hyperborea, in galactic astrology, carries exactly that memory: the origin point of humanity. The vision had encoded the mutable cross 27 years before it formed.
And then Isis and Osiris were framing the entire arc of Virgo between them. Osiris at 28 Virgo. Isis at 1 Virgo, sitting directly beside Regulus — the great royal fixed star that had now completed its 2000-year journey from Leo into Virgo. The feminine and masculine holding the whole sign like two hands cupping something precious.
But the personal activations are what stopped me.
In astrology, the nodes — the North and South Node — represent the soul’s evolutionary direction. The South Node points to what the soul carries from the past. The North Node points to where it is being called. On the day I climbed Baphuon, transiting Osiris was conjunct my natal South Node. Past life memory, activated by the asteroid of the divine masculine, at the exact degree of my karmic past.
And transiting Hyperborea — the asteroid associated with the memory of original humanity and ancient lost civilisations — was conjunct my natal North Node. Ancient memory meeting future calling.
Above all of it, the transiting South Node sat conjunct my natal Midheaven — my public destiny point — alongside the Shapley Attractor. The Shapley Attractor is the largest known concentration of galaxies in our universe, a gravitational force so immense that our entire galactic neighborhood is being pulled toward it. In galactic astrology it carries the frequency of early Scorpio: masks falling away, truth becoming non-negotiable.
The chart wasn’t observing what happened on that temple. It was participating.
In September 2026, I am travelling to Egypt. Some of what is written in the sky for that trip is already taking my breath away.
On 9th September, our group has a private visit to the Sphinx.
By then, Regulus — the royal fixed star completing its 2000-year journey from Leo into Virgo — will sit at 0.12 Virgo, cradled between Osiris at 3 Virgo and Isis at 27 Leo. The divine feminine and masculine, holding the royal star between them like a crown.
In my natal chart, I carry the asteroid Horus at 15 Leo, conjunct the asteroid Sphinx at 16 Leo — less than one degree apart. Horus, son of Osiris and Isis, was understood in ancient Egypt as the soul of Orion incarnate — the hero who completes what his parents began, the one who integrates the divine masculine and feminine into a single unified consciousness. The journey made whole.
On the morning of our Sphinx visit, transiting Jupiter — the planet of expansion, blessing, and revelation — will sit at 15 Leo, directly conjunct my natal Horus and Sphinx. In my 7th house of relationships and soul contracts.
I will be standing before the physical Sphinx while Jupiter activates the Sphinx and Horus encoded in my own chart.
Then on 19th September, we visit the Osiris shaft in the morning and the Great Pyramid in the evening.
That morning, Isis moves to 0.42 Virgo, Osiris to 8 Virgo. They are now both in Virgo together — the sign they framed from opposite ends in 2023. At Baphuon, transiting Osiris activated my natal South Node — a deeply personal activation, past life memory surfacing through my own karmic past. At the Osiris shaft, it is the transiting South Node being activated by Isis — a shift in scale. No longer just personal. The South Node here belongs to everyone, a collective karmic point. Isis activating what the whole of humanity is ready to release and remember.
And the transiting Vertex — the fated point as it moves through the collective sky, shifting so quickly that its activation in any given moment is considered highly significant — sits at 0.50 Taurus, in exact conjunction with transiting Chiron at 29.57 Aries. An out of sign conjunction: Chiron in its final breath of Aries, the Vertex stepping into Taurus. The anaretic degree of Chiron — a deep wound at the point of collective resolution. The Vertex at zero degrees: something irreversibly beginning for all of us. These two meeting at the threshold, at the exact moment I stand at the Osiris shaft.
My natal MC — my public destiny point — conjuncts transiting Venus at 5 degrees Scorpio. The Shapley Attractor watching again, as it did at Baphuon.
In 1995, two orbs became two letters and I didn’t know why.
In 2023, I found them carved in stone.
In 2026, I will stand in the Osiris shaft — and later that same day, inside the Great Pyramid, where the ancient chambers were built with shafts aligned to point toward Orion and Sirius.
The board was set a long time ago.
